Curiosities is a mini graphic novel about the life of Mary Anning, one of the first female paleontologists. With detailed hand-done illustrations, this novel serves to bring recognition to a commonly overlooked figure in history. Curiosities chronicles Mary’s life journey—from her childhood and the discovery of the ichthyosaur fossil to her lasting impact on history. The illustrations were made using traditional inking methods, and a digital wash was added to add depth and texture to the piece.
